Following the footsteps of George Adamson, The Big Cats Show Safari 2019 will be focusing on the Big Cats. The journey Will start on the Kenya’s Northern Frontier District in Meru National Park, where was the home to George Adamson and a region where making of the film Born Free was made. The journey will get down to the great plains of Masai Mara with a night stop at Lake Nakuru home humongous both black and white rhino and bird watchers paradise.
It is a standard photo Safari that has proven to be famous and the outcome is more than expectations.
Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, You will be met by Aquilasafaris Kenya. Then you will be transfered to Eka hotel for overnight.

Day 2 & 3
Meru National Park
After early morning breakfast at Eka hotel you will be briefed for the safari. The journey to Meru National Park takes a good six hours drive through some picturesque landscape, the gigantic Mt Kenya standing majestically, before we drop down some several thousands feet to semi arid region of Meru
Two days will be spent here as we try to photograph some of the native Lions, leopards and hundreds of Elephants in the park. The Rhino conservation in this complete wilderness is doing great with both black and white rhino… This park is a unique and has been under-utilized despite its great potential for the nature lovers. This was the official home of late George Adamson where he met and raised Elsa the Lioness featured in the book and movie Born Free. It also offers one of the best birding photography and amazing scenery across.

Day 4 & 5
Samburu Game Reserve
After an early morning game drive in Meru national park, we will head to Samburu game reserve .
Two days will be spent here as we try get to photograph some of the native Lions, leopards and hundreds of Elephants in the reserve. The conservation of African elephants here has proven to be so successful and it will be a chance view them up close and in all angles alongside our mission of the big cat hunt. On top of this we have some amazing northern species like oryx, gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, grevy zebra and somali ostrich and many amazing birds
OVERNIGHT AT ELEPHANT BEDROOM ON FULL BOARD BASIS
Solio Wildlife Conservancy
After breakfast in the Samburu game reserve, we will start another exiting journey to the foothills of Mt. Kenya. This conservancy is renowned for its successful efforts of the black and white rhinos. It is one of the highest populated with rhinos as a single unit in Africa.
Besides the rhinos, the conservancy has healthy pride of lions, buffaloes, hundreds species of birds all with the backdrop of amazing views of Mt. Kenya.

Lake Nakuru National Park
After having good time with the rhino and their beauty, a short drive will take us to the floor of The Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru is one of the salt water lake in Rift valley lakes known for its biodiversity. From bird watching to aquatic species here you get it all.
Big animals like Rhino,lions,buffaloes,leopards thrives here in numbers, great opportunity to photograph bird that's why they call it birdwatchers paradise with over 400 species recorded, both lesser and greater flamingos used to be in big numbers but due some natural phenomenal the water has changed thus reduced the number but still available in numbers.

Day 8 – 11
Masai Mara National Reserve
After the lake adventure, we will head South West Kenya to seek the climax of the safari in the world famous destination – Masai Mara National Reserve.
We will spend the next four days here aiming to get the best from this destination. It is the home of the big five, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles plus much more aspect of nature. Masai Mara is an all year destination unless you are specific to the great migration.

After an early morning game drive, We will depart to Nairobi where you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight.
